Question by jo: What are the physical boundaries of someone with Asperger Syndrome?
My friend has Asperger Syndrome and I didn’t know until just recently. The thing is, I like my friend in a romantic way and I want to show him that, but I don’t want to make him uncomfortable. How do I get across to him that I want to get to know him better in a romantic way and what would be the typical boundaries I would need to stay behind?

Online tests #1 – Asperger’s

This is test #1 and it’s for Asperger’s. The test stated i have asperger’s, ocd, add/adhd and dyspraxia whatever that is. Further investigation is needed!! Oh i should say i am not diagnosing myself and a ‘real’ doctor should be the one to diagnose you :pi DO have a lot of the ‘symptoms’ and ‘quirks’ so i thought i had it till i was assessed and found not to have it. the test is located here – www.rdos.net i ‘have’ been assessed for asperger’s by a real doctor (and not the internet) and she states my cognitive and sensory profiles are not consistent with asperger’s syndrome/my sensory profile resembles profiles of individuals who have clinical anxiety”. some more tidbits found during the assessment; i have a significant difference between my verbal comprehension and perceptual reasoning. in favor of visual perceptual skills. i lack the ability to reason in words. i am good with perceptual reasoning but horrible with my processing speed. i have poor vocabulary skills. i have difficulties expressing myself in words. my nonverbal reasoning abilities are in the high average range. i am good with finding missing details in pictures and putting puzzles together. i am a good visual learner. my working memory is in the average range but i have a big problem trying to do mental math. my performance in digit/symbol correspondence and symbol matching is well below average. below average visual scanning ability. and basically i just have difficulty with information processing. also

Hi there everyone I am going to be uploading 2 quality videos a week and that is all. This particular one I am very proud of as it is to help anyone in a relationship who is either Aspergers or is a partner of an Aspie to try and understand what makes them tick and hopefully will save the relationship should it be spiralling out of control. I am old school and always put 100% into a relationship but there comes a time when you realise you are fighting a losing battle. If you find it hard to communicate or you just seem to get on each others nerves then its time to sit down and talk. In these practical steps I explain why an Aspie can appear difficult. Why explaining things in more detail can stop a lot of melt downs. How practical steps can avoid problems in the future. This is sort of an amalgamation of a lot of my videos in the past about relationships. But now I can look on it with more humour rather than be as serious as I was and bitter in the past. A lot of the relationship advise I gave was stemming from my own experiences. If they were negative then that came out in the videos and that would not help anyone. With Aspergers or Autistic Related Disorders a lot of allowances must be made for the relationship to work. If you are not prepared to make them then you may as well give up and find some NT that meets your requirements. Relationships are hard work. Unless you are on a film set with an actor or actress relationships will always be hard work. Anyone can pretend

Jack’s Asperger’s Talk

I couldn’t be more proud of my 11 year old son Jack. He addressed his class today and explained to them that he has Asperger’s Syndrome. He hopes that he will be more accepted and they will understand him better with this talk. He is a very brave boy. He does say “sixth grade” at the start and he meant “second grade” but he did awesome. I love him very much. Here is what he said: Hi. I’m Jack Lebersfeld. I have been in school with most of you since the 2nd grade. I am, for the most part just like you, but in some ways I am different. I have Asperger’s syndrome, also known as autism spectrum disorder or AS for short. AS is not a disease. You can’t catch it. It is not something that can be cured. It is a condition that I have and will always have. It means my brain is a little different than yours. I see the world in a slightly different way than you do. This difference has given me some great strengths, but also some big challenges. There are many characteristics of AS and I am going to share with you some of mine. I am doing this today so that I may become more understandable to you and maybe you can be more understandable to me. The most common difficulties for people with AS is with social situations. Like having conversations or having a play date. I do not always act appropriately, because I am often unsure of the right way to behave. I want to learn to be more social. It is very hard for me to have conversations about things I am not interested in. It’s not that I

Asperger’s and being bullied

I wanted to make this video because I have seen my son at his happiest and since starting school he has changed. I hear about kids being mean to him, he’s been pushed, shoved, called names, water thrown in his face, etc. He’s only 5 years old and already has been bullied. Something needs to be done. We need to stop making people feel less and accept the differences. I do not own the rights to the songs used for this video.

Asperger’s Syndrome

I was recently asked this question about growing up with Asperger’s Syndrome: “hello i have a 8 year old son,who has been diagnosed with aspergers, he has severe social anxiety issues, i was hoping you could give me some tips on how to help him manage or overcome these issues, because you seem very well spoken and confident. i was floored when you said you had aspergers, he is very inteligent for his age also he reads at a 4th grade level, just needs help with the social aspect of life thanks.” – i.imgur.com Generally, I dislike giving Youtube advice, but I feel that I have a unique experience in this field that cannot be had by psychologists, and maybe cannot be expressed by many other people who have been diagnosed with AS. That said, autism diagnoses vary widely, and my advice could be completely inapplicable to this person’s situation. Take it all with a grain of salt. Question by : How does an adult go about getting assessed for Asperger’s?
My boyfriend, his family, and I think he may have an autism spectrum disorder (probably Asperger’s). His doctor recommended he get checked for autism when he was a child, but his father was against it for whatever reason so he never got help, and he has been struggling with handling adult responsibilities lately. I want to try to get him some professional help, but I’ve been having trouble finding information for adults. How does an adult (he is 26) go about getting assessed for Asperger’s? Thank you!

Schizoid VS Aspergers

The vast similarities and very IMPORTANT diagnostic differences. Note: I have Aspergers, and in no way mean offense to anyone who has Schizoid Personality Disorder. I don’t tend to word things in a politically correct way.

This is a documentary about a high school student, Jordan Roach, who was Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD. He loves to play video games and he is an aspiring stand up comedian. He also wants to be a ladies man. During his journey, his mom and his Made coach supported him.
